Coaching for writers

You've finished the book, finally! All your materials are ready and you're about to send your manuscript to the publisher or editor.

Not there yet? No problem, I have you covered.

If you're at the planning, drafting, or revising stage and in need of guidance, motivation, or a confidence boost, then you're in the right place!

Check out my four-week coaching program. My next availability for new bookings is in September 2023.

What does the program include?

The program is four weeks long and offers a mixture of calls (for brainstorming and overcoming obstacles) and written feedback (for evaluating your writing progress).

You'll receive:

  • An introductory one-hour brainstorming session. We'll discuss your writing context, obstacles, goals, and dreams for the project. In this session, we'll come up with a plan and milestones for the month.

  • Next, you'll receive feedback each week on up to five pages (around 1250 words). You'll be able to buy more pages if necessary. The feedback will be delivered by email, and you'll be able to respond to discuss any issues.

  • At the halfway point (two weeks), we'll have another brainstorming session (1 hour). We'll discuss your progress.

  • After four weeks and four rounds of feedback, we'll meet for a final hour to discuss any possible next steps.

Your investment: $475

Add ons
  • You can book as many months as you like

  • If you need any extra support sessions or brainstorming, you'll be able to buy them at my regular editing rate.

Am I ready for coaching?

I work with:

  • New authors with an unfinished manuscipt in need of guidance

  • More experienced authors who feel stuck and want to reinvigorate their wrting practice

  • Authors who want to take their writing up a level and discuss their craft

  • Authors who want to better understand their feelings around writing

I do not offer writing coaching to authors who:

  • Have a clear plan and direction with their writing, and who are successfully working toward it without the need for guidance

  • Just need a developmental or line edit

My aim is to leave you feeling well-supported with a clear plan of what to do next.
