These are titles from my editorial portfolio that I have worked on recently.
I work primarily with indie authors, guiding them through the publishing process. My projects usually begin with a manuscript evaluation, which is followed by a line edit or copyedit.
I work with authors seeking to query novels with traditional publishers, too. In addition, I write reader reports for New Books in German suggested titles (mostly narrative non-fiction).
Besides fiction, I love working with cultural anthropologists, offering developmental editing (manuscript evaluation) and line editing for multilingual authors publishing in English.
Over the past few years, I have worked on titles for publishers including the Alaska Journal of Anthropology, the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation, Berghahn, Bloomsbury, Brill, I.B. Tauris, Routledge, De Gruyter, Deutscher Kunstverlag, Palgrave Macmillan, and the University of Toronto Press.
As part of my previous careers as a cultural anthropologist and then academic editor, I line-edited or copyedited over one hundred and fifty research articles and author submissions to leading academic journals in the social sciences and humanities, mostly within cultural anthropology.
I have published ethnographic monographs, including one on Croatian ultras, and have some short stories and a novel in development.
Finally, I am fluent in Croatian, German, and Spanish and speak intermediate Czech, French, and Mandarin. I love working on editorial projects with authors from all these language backgrounds! I’m keen to promote exophonic authors and have many such titles in this editorial portfolio.
