These titles are fiction copyediting or line editing projects from my recent editorial portfolio. I complete a lot of titles for multilingual fiction authors publishing in English.

I collaborate primarily with new authors, guiding them through the publishing or querying process.

Besides fiction, I love working with cultural anthropologists, offering developmental editing (manuscript evaluation) and line editing for multilingual authors publishing in English.

Over the past few years, I have worked on titles for publishers including the Alaska Journal of Anthropology, the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation, Berghahn, Bloomsbury, Brill, I.B. Tauris, Routledge, De Gruyter, Deutscher Kunstverlag, Palgrave Macmillan, and the University of Toronto Press.

As part of my previous career as a cultural anthropologist and academic editor, I line-edited or copyedited over one hundred and fifty research articles and author submissions to leading academic journals in the social sciences and humanities, mostly within cultural anthropology.

I have published ethnographic monographs, including one on Croatian ultras, and have some short stories and a novel in development.

Finally, I am fluent in Croatian, German, and Spanish and speak intermediate Czech, French, and Mandarin. I love working on editorial projects with authors from all these language backgrounds! I’m keen to promote exophonic authors and have many such titles in this editorial portfolio.

These are titles from my editorial portfolio that I have completed developmental or consulting work on recently. These services range from a full developmental edit to a manuscript evaluation, or a more focused review looking at worldbuilding or LGBTQ+ sensitivity issues.

I also complete reader reports for New Books In German, and I have been on the jury selecting German-language titles for translation funding.

Finally, below you can find some cultural anthropology and humanities titles I have worked on earlier in my career.
