I offer academic workshops on:

 

(1) scholarly editing and publishing

 

(2) academic developmental editing and self-editing

 

Workshops can be online (globally) or in person (Europe). ​

My materials focus on cultural anthropology, but they can be adapted to topics and examples in adjacent fields—developmental editing largely involves similar principles across the humanities and social sciences.

Besides general workshops on developmental editing and understanding scholarly publishing, I specialize in applying fiction and creative nonfiction writing techniques to cultural anthropology writing.

Signature workshop:

Workshop fees are as follows:

3 hours (on one day): 650 euros

4 hours (on one day): 800 euros

6 hours (over two days): 1150 euros

8 hours (over two days): 1400 euros

Reasonable travel and accommodation fees are charged separately. These do not apply, of course, for online delivery.

My minimum booking is three hours for in-person workshops. Workshops can be tailored for doctoral researchers, academic staff, research groups, postgraduate programmes, and departmental or institutional events.

Note: Fees include adaptation of existing materials to your audience and subject area. If you would like a new workshop designed from scratch, or separate feedback on participants' work, I charge my standard developmental-editing rates for this work.​​​​
