CV / Training and qualifications
I don't use social media for my business because it doesn't fit my values, and I find it a time sink. So I've added my CV details and qualifications here.

For my academic research background, check out:
-
my book on football fan activism in Croatia
-
my ResearchGate and Google Scholar profiles
I have a PhD in social anthropology from the University of Manchester, a master’s degree in the history of science from the University of Manchester, and a degree in natural sciences (maths, psychology, history and philosophy of science) from the University of Cambridge.
Over the past few years, I have worked on titles for academics publishers including the Alaska Journal of Anthropology, the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation, Berghahn, Bloomsbury, Brill, I.B. Tauris, Routledge, De Gruyter, Deutscher Kunstverlag, Palgrave Macmillan, and the University of Toronto Press.

For fiction, I've worked for Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, and St. Martin's Press, among others.

I'm an advanced professional member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading. I completed my copyediting training with them. On the other side of the pond, I'm a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association and the LGBTQ+ Editors Association.
I've completed comprehensive training in fiction developmental editing with Club Ed and fiction line editing with the EFA. This training included feedback on a full developmental edit from Jennifer Lawler, who has over twenty years' experience in this area. You can find the training details on my CIEP directory entry.
